A minor key barn-burner that brings back the traditional "tenor battle." Tenor saxophones trade choruses, half-choruses, eights, fours, and twos, punctuated with ensemble send-offs, interludes, backgrounds, and a 16-bar high-energy shout chorus. The alto saxophones share the spotlight in this in-the-pocket medium blues, starting with a unison stop-time melody. The blowing begins with an ensemble send-off, and each alto gets several choruses to stretch out, leading to choruses of 4s and an "a capella" chorus soloing together, topped off with a traditional big-band ensemble shout. This up-tempo swinger is reminiscent of Woody Herman's "Four Brothers."
